    OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
    Ryan Clarke, Valparaiso

    Clarke tied a school record with five touchdown passes as Valparaiso won a 42-35 PFL contest at Davidson, Saturday. His five touchdown tosses are tied for fourth-most in the FCS this season and the most by a PFL passer this season. Entering the game with just nine career completions, he completed 18-of-32 passes for 244 yards. His fifth touchdown toss was the game-winner as he found wideout Griffin Norberg for a 12-yard touchdown pass with less than two minutes remaining in the game.

    DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

    Awuruonye marshalled a Campbell defense that recorded the FCS’ best sack performance this season in a 24-14 PFL victory against Drake, Saturday. He finished the game with three sacks, tying a school record and tied for fourth-most in the FCS this season, as part of a 10-tackle (3 solo), three tackle-for-loss effort. Behind his effort, Campbell recorded nine sacks for minus-61 yards and held Drake to 154 total yards while recording their first-ever win in the series.

    SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
    Sean Smith, Dayton

    Smith came up big in the fourth quarter to help Dayton improve to 4-0 with a 27-14 PFL victory at Stetson, Saturday. He punted eight times in the contest, averaging 41.1 yards per punt. Two of his punts went for more than 50 yards, once when Dayton was pinned on its own 17-yard line in the third quarter. The other was a 50-yard punt that began a game-ending sequence that kept Stetson bottled up on its own end of the field after scoring early in the fourth quarter. Stetson returners averaged just 3.9 yards per return on his punts.
